ACCESS AT THE THEATRE CENTRE Submenu

TOUR OF THE THEATRE CENTRE

THEATRE ENTRANCE
Entrance to the theatre is via the double doors on Dovercourt Road. The double doors are 54 inches wide. There is one 6 inch high step from Dovercourt Road into the theatre and a further 2 steps, approximately 10 inches high.

Doors are open 1 hour prior to show time.

BOX OFFICE
The Box Office is inside the theatre space, just by the entrance on Dovercourt Road, and is open 1 hour prior to show time.  Tickets will be held under your name and a box office representative will be there to help.

AUDITORIUM
The main seating area sits approximately 100 people. Access to the seating is down sixteen, 9-inch steps, located at the back of the auditorium. A banister is positioned to the left of the steps.

The seating is tiered, with up to 7 rows. Access to each row is through a middle staircase. There are eleven steps in total, each 8-inch high. Seats are on individual cushioned chairs with no arms. Seating arrangements will sometimes be altered, depending on the shows.

An additional 25 stools can be added to the balcony level. The balcony is on the same level as the entrance into the auditorium. Balcony seating is on stools approximately 30 inches high. The balcony railing is approximately 43 inches high.

WASHROOMS

Women’s and Men’s washrooms are located at the back of the auditorium, behind the tiered seating. Doors to the washrooms are 34 inches wide. The washrooms are not wheelchair accessible.
